COLLOIDAL SlLVER IN THE PAST Silver has benefitted mankind's health for thousands of years. In ancient Greece and Rome people used silver containers to keep liquids fresh. The Chinese understood its cleansing properties. In the Ayurvedic tradition of India, it had been used medically. American settlers traveling across the West often put a silver dollar in milk to delay its spoiling. Around the turn of the century, doctors prescribed silver nitrate for stomach ulcers.
